Dissertation deals with the theoretic substantiation of the development of soils degradation of Small Polissya. Causes and effects of negative phenomena have been characterized. Classification of degrading processes and the scale of their assessment have been suggested. The fundamentals of integral assessment of soils degradation have been elaborated and the mapping of integral assessment of soils degradation of Small Polissya has been done.
