Voloshin Y. Constitutional and legal basis of European interstate integration: issues of theory and practice

The dissertation systematizes the scientific research of the constitutional and the legal basis of European interstate integration. It also considers the ontological as well as the axiological issues of defining such categories as "integration" and "European interstate integration" in the domestic and in the foreign constitutional and legislative doctrines in retrospective and contemporary understanding thereof. The dissertation studies the tools of research of the constitutional and the legal basis of interstate integration process in the domestic and in the foreign science of constitutional law, the related terminology as well as the systemic constituent and the contents being taken into consideration. The author provides grounds for the theoretical and the axiological definition of contemporary constitutionalism in the context of its globalization paradigm and the very phenomenon of interstate integration.
