The analysis of known means of control for enforced fluid flows is given. The possibility of controlling fluid flows by means of the hydrodynamic active additives (HDAA) is theoretically substantiated for the following cases: stabilization of fluid discharge from a pipeline; redistribution of fluid flows; reduction of non-uniformity of input and output discharge along perforated pressure pipelines. A component taking into account the external hydrodynamic pressure is introduced into differential equations of variable flow rate fluid flow; a new approach to their solution is proposed. The new technique of the flow pattern visualization for fluid flows in cylindrical pipes by means of speed-velocity photography and Doppler locator is elaborated. The theoretical statements have been experimentally proved. The ability of HDAA to reduce turbulent friction in cylindrical pipes and to increase resistance of variable cross-section pipes is the basement of invented by the author energy saving means of diagnostics of enforced flow and in controlling them.
