Yaroshevskiy O. A system for the treatment and rehabilitation of reflexive muscle tone syndromes

The manuscript describes an analysis of 357 patients with various manifesta-tions of reflexive muscle tone syndromes. We examine the association of these syn-dromes with other neurological signs, such as movement impairments, biomechanical deficiencies of the spinal cord, cervicogenic headaches, ataxias, coronary syndromes, periarthrites, cerebral dyshemiae, vegetative dysfunctions as well as emotional and cognitive impairments. Based on our findings we develop a system of treatment and rehabilitation of reflexive muscle tone conditions and their secondary neurological manifestations. Our system involves three stages: manual therapy (for the biome-chanical correction of the spine and release of myofascial trigger points), acupuncture (for the treatment of vegetative dysfunction and a general analgesic effect), and physical therapy (for the correction of muscle symmetry and ensuring sustainability of the treatment effects).
