This thesis deals with the discourse of emigration literature, short prose, represented by "The Artistic Ukrainian Movement (Mystetskyi ukrainskyi rukh)" (MUR), in particular with the comprehensive analysis of its poetics through the lens of genre and stylistic modifications in the receptive aspect of aesthetics. The samples of short prose by MUR writers dated 40-60-ies of the 20-th century, in particular by: P. Baley, A. Ghak, F. Dudka, Yurii Klen, I. Kostetsky, V. Krymsky, S. Parfanovych, V. Petrov (V.Domontovych), V. Rusalsky as well as program of speeches of MUR theorists and critical heritage serve to display regularities of aesthetic and emotional exploration of reality and the description of ethological moral constants of the short prose metatext of MUR writers.
