Essay

This Dissertation represents the complex research of the function of law in law theory science and its development. The system and types of the function of law are covered. The dissertation proves that the dialectic of unity (essence) of law and the forms of its realization becomes apparent in the functions of law. The social value and historical conditionality of the protective function of law is researched. The methodological grounds, definition, principles, institutions, rules and relations are analyzed. It is underlined that in the context of the protective function of law the terms of legal interest and of interest protected by law are differentiated.
