The thesis is devoted to improving the quality of radio navigation systems, based on J-correlation signal processing. The problems of optimum detection of signals with a pseudo-casual rebuilding of working frequency were considered. The detection method, where the noise impact of linear section reduce the effect on the ratio signal/noise were proposed. The expression specifies an output signal to noise ratio was fined. The condition for optimization was obtained. The direction finding and ranging techniques were created on base of developed of J-correlation signal processing method. The possibility of constructing finders with a small base distance between the antennas having the direction-finding characteristics a sawtooth or asymptotic form, the slope of which depends on the parameters of the probing signal: modulation index, modulating frequency was shown. Unambiguity of readout, split-hair accuracy of measurement, resolution were provided. It was shown that reduction of base distance allows to increase accuracy of measurements. For considered radio range finders absence of influence Doppler frequency shift on result of processing of a signal was proved. Characteristics of a measuring instrument of two versions were received: sawtooth and asymptotic. It was shown that a steepness of characteristics, and, hence, and accuracy of measurement depend on parameters of a probing signal: an index of the modulation, modulating frequencies. The condition of unequivocal measurement of range was defined. It was shown that the method possesses resolution. For the purpose of an exception of unapproved access to satellite repeaters questions of their reserved sounding were considered.
