Dovhan A. Gnosiological optimism of the Western European rationalistic philosophy (XVІІ - early XVIII century)

For the first time optimism as the essential phenomenon of the cognitive activity as well as the specific character of the cognitive abilities of the human intellect, basing on the development of the New epoch Western European philosophy, has been investigated. The importance of the gnosiological optimism investigation for the advancement of the historic-philosophic reconstruction of the philosophic rationalism development of the early New epoch, has been determined. Gnosiological optimism was found to be one of the essential manifestations of the subjective philosophic reflection of the conception approaches formation in achieving the cognition ideal - a truth. Dominating systems of the gnosiological optimism of the beginning of the New epoch philosophy development, have been described in the dissertation.
