Kuklin O. Transformation of higher education institution in conditions of forming economic knowledge

Doctoral thesis comprises the results of the research of general mechanism of higher education institution development and its typical manifestation under conditions of forming economic knowledge in Ukraine. The aim of the doctoral thesis is defining the essence of the higher education institution, working out theoretical and methodological grounds for its transformation and strategic priorities of the development under conditions of forming economic knowledge, argumentation of practical recommendations regarding the forming of efficient mechanism of its functioning in Ukraine. The object of research is the system of economic, social, organizational and legal relations as regards the functioning of higher education as social and economic institution. General - scientific and special methods were used in the research. The practical value of the results of doctoral thesis is confirmed by implementing these results into the teaching process of Cherkassy National University named after B. Hmelnytskiy and National Pedagogical University named after M. Dragomanov, and into the activities of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Ministry of Science and Education and the Central Board of economy of Cherkassy regional authorities. The above mentioned establishments use some aspects of research while forming effective and diversified system of gaining and allocation of financial costs into educational branch of Ukraine and reforming Ukrainian system of higher education as the basis for making efficient managerial decisions.
