In the dissertation scientific legal and historical sources, texts of constitutions and other normative legal acts are analyzed to explore some problems connected with the constitutional and human right to conscience, the peculiarities of its realization and legal mechanism of its protection. The systematic analysis of philosophic and legal as well as general theoretic aspects of freedom of conscience is carried out.
