The dissertationis dedicated for the problem of increasing the results of diagnostics and treatment of focal cavital pathology of the liver (abscesses, true and parasital liver cysts) and perihepatic fluid collections by working-out and performance of the percutaneous ultrasound-guided interventions, such as punctions and drainage. Performance of percutaneous ultrasound - guided interventions in treatment of postoperative incommunicable fluid collections made it possible to avoid relaparotomy in 92.5% cases.
