The dissertation is devoted to the theoretic and methodological principles of establishing and realization of bank supervision in the mechanism of the efficient functioning of the bank system. The peculiarities of original approaches in supervision and adjusting of bank activity have been defined, the mechanism of realization of bank supervision in market economies and in Ukraine has been determined. The assessment of the risk-oriented efficiency supervision in Ukraine has been made.
