Viktor S. Political, legal and socio-cultural dimensions of globalization

The author in the frame of the European intellectual and civilization tradition investigates the paradigms of future world order, national and foreign political science approaches to the globalization phenomenon comprehension. He defines methodological grounds of political, legal, socio-cultural globalization dimensions investigation, argues their axiological potential, complex character of their interconnection and inter-influence, their role in the world order institutes formation and in the assuring of its humanization. It is shown the heuristic potential of system-synergetic method in the globalization processes investigation. The author highlights the special features of political systems, states, civil society, social institutes and democratic values transformations in the context of universalization and fragmentation dialectics. It has been proposed author political definition of globalization. The role of law, identification of a state and self-identification of society in the global modern transformations conditions, assuring the cultures polilog are investigated. The author argues the role of education and science in the formation of society of the future.
