Essay

The dissertation pioneers theoretical grounding, elaboration and approbation of the methodological system of language-communicative competence formation among non-philology students at pedagogical universities. Based on the analysis of works in pedadogics, psychology and lingual didactics it represents its structural and functional model; gives detailed characteristics of methodological system structural components, such as the size and contents of theoretical material, which provides systematic knowledge in Ukrainian among non-philology students; moreover, the forms of organization, traditional and innovative methods and techniques of Ukrainian language education and self-education; it analyses the optimal means of realization, control and correction of student knowledge, abilities and skills in the Ukrainian language.The elaborated methodological system has been successfully approbated and its effectiveness has been proved experimentally. Author's educational and methodological complexes in the Ukrainian language disciplines, as well as, educational manuals for students of non-philology major are introduced in the educational process of Higher Educational Establishments of Ukraine.
