Essay

The dissertation deals with the development of bases of bitumen production technology and obtaining of petroleum resins with functional groups. Bitumens are modified by petroleum resins and petroleum resins with functional groups (epoxy, hydroxy, carboxy) are effective modifiers of bitumens and protective coatings. The main regularities of the modification process have been studied by means of joint oxidation and compounding. The processes of functional petroleum resins and new types of protective coatings obtaining have been investigated.
