The processes of becoming and development of credit-investment activity of banks in the socio-economic system of the state are a research object. Research methods: systems approach, scientific abstraction, theoretical generalization, comparison, mathematical design, systematization. Results: methodological principles of forming and use of credit-investment potential of banks in the socio-economic system of the state; scientific positions in relation to the exposure of influencing of regional features on forming and use of credit-investment potential of banks; scientific approach to the management by the credit risk of bank; complex system of increase of efficiency of the use of credit-investment potential of banks; methodological principles of determination and estimation of risks in the process of the bank crediting; methodological principles of the bank investing at the fund market. Practical meaningfulness of work is determined by introduction of its results in activity of banks of Ukraine.
