Moiseeva A. The concept of eliminating measles in the conditions of Ukraine.

The thesis is devoted to studying the features of the epidemic process of measles dynamics, its impact on the rate of vaccination and the development of the concept of measles elimination in Ukraine. Determined the characteristics of the epidemic process in measles before vaccination period and first years of its introduction (1944 - 1972), the introduction of revaccination (1973 - 1985) and during application of current immunization scheme (1986 - 2009). Shows the relationship between measures of morbidity and immunization measles population of different age groups. The obtained data on the prevalence of infection, its age distribution, gradually lengthening recurrence of epidemic rises and increasing the share of cases among vaccinated. The state and dynamics of population immunity against measles population of Ukraine. . Presented of calculations on the economic rationale for vaccination against measles. The algorithm of measles elimination strategies using complex tactical measures and the conceptual scheme of epidemiological surveillance of measles in the stage of elimination, taking into account levels of intensity of the epidemic process.
