The subject of study: results of pancreatic resection. The aim of study: improvement the results of surgical treatment of patients with pancreatic pathology by elaboration existing and development and implementation in clinical practice the new technologies of diagnosis, prevention and treatment the syndrome after pancreatic resection. Methods of examination and equipment: clinical, instrumental, laboratory (endoscopic, X-ray, wave), morphological, statistics. Theoretical and practical results: it was performed the scientific substantiation, elaboration and implementation in the clinical practice the new approaches for using the effective methods of diagnosis and treatment of functional and organic changes, complication, metabolic consequences after pancreatic resection, proposed classification of syndrome after pancreatic resection and identified the degree of its severity, defined the guidelines for the development of severe forms the syndrome after pancreatic resection that combine differentiated pathogenetic substantiated extended and pancreatic-preserving operation with using ?ndiv?dual?zated postoperative treatment. Scientific novelty: for the first time there are represented the theoretical generalization and identification new ways to solve the problem of prevention, diagnosis and treatment the disorders after pancreatic resection based on multifactorial analysis of the pathogenetic mechanisms of postpancreatoresection consequences and complications with the definition of the differentiated indications to medical and surgical treatment, individualization choice of his volume, the improvement of existing and development the new methods of primary operations with maximum preservation of pancreatic tissue and restoration its functional reserve, reduction the frequency of complications after pancreatic resection and recurrence of primary diseases, improvement quality of life the patients.
