Oliinyk G. Clinical and laboratory and morpho-functional characteristics of the cold disease.

The thesis is clinical and experimental in nature and devoted to the topical problems of contemporary Combustiology: improvement of victims' treatment after cold injury by optimizing the diagnosis process and development conservative early surgical treatment and preventive measures, taking into account the severity and symptom expressions of systemic inflammatory response syndrome. On the basis of the experimental studies, clinical observations, laboratory data and instrumental examinations, we revealed the following: the total body hypothermia and distributed local effect of low temperatures leads to the development of metabolic syndrome with pathological changes in organs and systems considered as signs of the disease from the period of cold damage experienced to the final result. The introduction of new approaches and developed technical means contributed to the reverse process in 75% of victims hospitalized before the reaction started and enabled the implementation of early surgery on the 2nd -3rd day, which significantly improved the treatment results.
