Essay

Object of study - etiopathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of relapse in patients with limited scleroderma and chronic lupus erythematosus. Research objective - the improvement of diagnostic methods, improved treatment and secondary prevention in patients with limited scleroderma, chronic lupus erythematosus based on the results of systematic regional-environmental, clinical, genetic, morphological, immunological, metabolic, statistical studies depending on the stage and severity of disease. Methods: clinical, epidemiological, genetic, morphological, histochemical, immunohistochemical, immunomorphological, immunological, biophysical, biochemical and statistical. The dissertation is devoted to solving a scientific problem, which includes improvement of diagnostic methods, determining dermatitis stage and severity of limited scleroderma and chronic lupus erythematosus, as well as enhancing efficiency of therapy and secondary prevention through development of comprehensive treatment, making allowances for the leading pathogenetic links with anti-inflammatory, anti-fibrous, immunomodulatory, and metabolic drugs. Influence of environmental factors on the development of these dermatoses, genetic susceptibility, pathological breakdown of connective tissue and disruption of its synthesis, morphology and immune disorders, changes in macro- and microelement status regarding the stage of the disease have been defined. Severity assessment scales, complex methods of treatment and prevention have been developed. The results of the work have been implemented in the clinic of SE "Institute of Dermatology and Venereology of AMS of Ukraine", regional dermatovenerologic dispensaries of Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odessa, Poltava, Ternopil, Kharkiv, city dermatovenerologic dispensaries of Donetsk and Sevastopol.
