The enterprise economic behavior in the conditions of permanent instability is the research object. The theoretical, methodological and methodic fundamentals of economic behavior of machine-building enterprises are the research subject. The scientific foundation and development of theoretical, methodological, conceptual and methodic-applied basis of evaluation, formation and development of machine-building enterprises' economic behavior are the aim of the thesis. The logical method, analysis and synthesis, systemic, historical, grouping, the method of expert assessment, statistic analysis: comparison and the method of relative value, medium values and variation analysis, correlative-regression analysis, the dynamics series, matrix, scientific abstraction, graphic are the research methods. The conceptual basis of behavior theory formation of machine-building enterprises have been determined; the life cycle of domestic machine-building enterprises' development in the context of their behavior safety has been developed; the enterprise's economic behavior model which depicts the safety of its development has been defined and proved. The concept-categorical apparatus in the sphere of behavior theory, technology of enterprise's economic behavior formation, typology of enterprise's economic behavior on the basis of its kinds systematization according to the set of qualities, the method of enterprise's economic safety assessment have been improved. The concept of functional interconnection of categories "development - economic safety - stability - efficiency", the determinants of enterprise's economic behavior on the basis of synthesis of internal enterprise's space and mainsprings that define its economic behavior, the method of mathematic interpretation of enterprise's economic behavior models, the concept of management influence on enterprise's economic behavior, the prove of the content and character of the process of transformation of influence factors on enterprise's economic behavior depending on changes in economic conditions, the concept of practical realization of contracts usage and state regulations for stimulation of manufacture-oriented enterprise's behavior and renewing of their great manufacturing development have been developed. The research results have been embedded into the activity of machine-building enterprises, оn the national and regional levels, in the academic process. The machine-building enterprises are the sphere of usage of author's proposals.
