Gonchrov V. Medical and psychological criteria for the differentiation of exogenous and endogenous process of mental disorders and the principles of their correction

In this thesis, based on a systematic approach is given a theoretical basis and a new solution of scientific problems of differentiation of organic schizophreniformed disorder and schizophrenia complicated with organic disorders of the central nervous system. Diagnostic criteria based on the application of experimental psychological, clinical, instrumental and statistical methods are proposed. The opportunity to establish science-based degree of reliability of the received diagnostic solutions is given. A survey of 204 patients with mental disorders of exogenous, endogenous and mixed genesis were established pathopsychological features, psychopathological structure, neuropsychological features specific to each pathogenic factor. The location of similar clinical manifestations of mental disorders in the factor space is determined on the basis of modern methods of statistical analysis and the fundamental difference in the nature of their occurrence is confirmed. Pathogenetically significant pathopsychological and psychopathological features symptoms of high diagnostic assignment is identified. The general principles of psychological support for patients suffering from exogenous and endogenous mental illness is worked out. A system of social rehabilitation, based on the combined use of forms of individual and family therapy, the effectiveness of which was confirmed by follow-up is developed and put into practice.
