Essay

The obtained and analyzed data on the current state of ichthyofauna of inland water bodies as an important component of aquatic ecosystems and element of processes of commercial fish production formation. The dynamics of structural-functional indicators of background fish species has been analyzed; a quantitative evaluation of impact external factors on ichthyofauna has been given. Efficiency of natural and artificial propagation of ichthyofauna from the point of view of biodiversity maintenance and ensuring qualitative and quantitative characteristics of commercial catches has been analyzed. It was found that for the period of 2006-2010, a noticeable improvement of the qualitative state of commercial ichthyofauna stocks was noted. The available data do not allows affirming about critical state of fish resources in inland water bodies. Bases of regulation of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of commercial fish harvest in reservoirs have been justified.
