Slobodyns'ka T. Functionally semantical category of taxis in the Ukrainian language.

The dissertation is devoted to the functional-semantic category of taxis in the modern Ukrainian language. Taxis has been analyzed in the context of the development of the functional grammar theory. The peculiarities of oriented and non-oriented taxis, semantic constructions with an intergral-taxis component have been established. It has been proved the universality of taxis meanings, presented as the functional-semantic field. The following zones of the field structure: nucleus center, nucleus, near and far peripheries have been determined. The systematization and the hierarchy of the various level means of taxis category realization have been worked out, differentiating specialized, non-specialized and auxiliary verbalizators of semantical-syntactical relations of simultaneous/non-simultaneous actions, processes and states have been realized. The significance of "taxis" in text creation has been cleared up.
