Salyutin R. Cellular stimulation of angiogenesis in treatment of patients with chronic ischemia of lower limbs (experimental and clinical research)

The dissertation work is devoted to the problem in treatment of patients for obliterating disease of lower limbs with development of chronic ischemic syndrome. The research is based on the ability of transplanted progenitor cells of fetal human liver to stimulate regenerative and plastic processes and angiogenesis in ischemic tissues.It has been established that the environment conditions - where cell transplantation is injected into - is the main factor that defines the differentiation trend of transplanted progenitor cells. The method for cellular transplantation of progenitor cells of fetal liver to patients with obliterating lesion in peripheral arterial bed of lower limbs with chronic ischemic syndrome - where it is impossible to perform reparative and regenerative intervention - has been developed.
