Object of research:the state language policy in Ukraine. Objective: theoretical and methodological basis of the conceptual foundations of the state language policy in the context of the Ukrainian national idea and the development of promising areas for improvement. Methods: a systematic and comparative analysis, logical and theoretical analysis, the historical method, the structural-functional analysis, observation, etc. Results: rationale essentially theoretical and methodological foundations of the state language policy in the context of the Ukrainian national idea. Novelty: the role of language and national language policy in the formation of the nation.
