Popova N. Phytochemical research and standardization of herbal drugs of plants of families Lamiaceae, Solanaceae, Asteraceae, Saxifragaceae and perspectives of their application.

The thesis is devoted to the pharmacognostic research of plants of families Fabaceae, Rosaceae, Cannabaceae, Iridaceae, Salicaceae, Apocynaceae as sources of medicines, standardization and study of their pharmacological activities. It have been isolated and determined the structure of 103 natural compounds, of which 7 have been discovered as new. It was synthesized on the base of cymarin and erysimin 13 azomethines and 16 alkyliden-derivatives. It was developed and standardized the dietary supplements "Alfalfin", "Prophylactic-hygienic herbal extract of alfalfa herb", "Prophylactic-hygienic remedy on the base of herbal extract of alfalfa", dietary supplements from herbal drug series "Mother Nature". At different stages of application there are "Glifazin" suppositories, "Medicabol" pills, "Phytocardin", "Liquid extract of black locust leaves", "Flavacetin", dry extracts from the bark of poplar, shoots of blackberry, herb of chickpeas, leaves and rhizomes of iris, leaves and strobile of hop. It has been developed draft of 2 monographs of the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine.
