This thesis is presented, scientifically validated and analyzed the methodology of forming a system of mental health, psycho-prophylaxis and therapy of addictive behavior among pupils and students in higher education, smoking tobacco and alcohol use on the basis of studying the characteristics of prevalence, clinical psychopathology. For this tool is designed method of diagnosis (Universal Card), determined the prevalence of addictive behavior in the Ukraine at the schools and students (surveyed 3361 people) identified the social and demographic characteristics, psychiatric characteristics of the respondents, as well as risk factors for the formation of addictive behavior among schoolchildren and young people substantiated a causal relationship between the results of clinical-anamnestic, socio-demographic, psychological research, a violation of adaptive functions in the investigated contingent, determined the presence and degree of mutually reinforcing influence of alcohol, tobacco and gambling behavior in young people, assessed the effectiveness of the developed system. Found that the addictive behavior takes place in 5.72 % of schoolchildren aged 12-16 years and be accompanied by such violations of adaptation: sleep disorders, bad mood, irritability out of the game, affects of depression, sadness, anxiety, discomfort, physiological, asthenic radicals. It was determined that the highest rates of participation in the games among university students connected with the games that require financial expenses. Violations of the students are adapting sleep disorders, autonomic dysfunction, dysphoric affects, worsening of mood on the sidelines, depression, grief, and rapid fatigue of any kind of activity. The determined position of the mutually reinforcing shaping young people's co-addictive chemical and non-chemical presence of psychopathology and personality predisposition. Developed a phased system of mental health, psycho-prophylaxis and therapy, and was distinguished by the complexity of biosocial differentiation based, subjective, personal, and behavioral risk factors and pathogenetic mechanisms for the implementation of addictive behavior. The combined effect on the chemical and nonchemical addictive target of 1.92 times increased the effectiveness of interventions. Psychohygienic micro-and macro programs are recommended for wide introduction into practical public health, educational and social spheres.
