Kurilo V. Family maladjustment: causes, mechanisms of development, clinical manifestations, diagnostics, system of psychotherapy and psychoprophylaxis

We surveyed 260 couples, of which 210 couples with a family maladjustment, and comorbid disorders (including those with neurotic and personality disorders) in order to study the causes, mechanisms and clinical implications of family maladjustment, to develop criteria for its diagnosis and psychotherapy and psychoprophylaxis systems. Conducted psychiatric, medical-psychological, clinical-psihofenomenological contingents characteristics. The analysis of the clinico-psychopathological characteristics of the patients, which resulted to the selection nosological units of mental disorders. Analyzed the interpersonal characteristics of men and women with personality and neurotic disorders and family maladjustment and their spouses (husband); studied the characteristics of their family functioning. The clinico-psychopathological features of the inspected persons were studied by means of application special the phenomenon of receptions. Allocated psychotherapeutic effect-syndrome, which were peculiar inspected. The features of the family and psychotherapeutic diagnosis of contingents. Are developed the criteria of diagnosis, psycho-correction system and the program psychoprophylaxis family maladjustment in couples where one spouse suffers from personality disorder and neurotic disorder. Designed intervention shown to be very effective in practice.
