Essay

The aim - working out of creation principles of microwave devices on high-Q resonant elements that will allow to expand their functionality and to provide more effective utilisation for qualitative improvement of selective properties, spectral characteristics of microwave signals and sensitivity of measurements Object - processes of signal formation and conversion in devices on high-Q resonant elements. Methods - electrodynamics, long-distance line theory, phenomenological microscopic theory of superconductivity, plasma physics, low-temperature combustion engineering. Results - criteria to assess the possibilities of achievement of the maximum Q-factor and stability of resonant frequency are developed subject to physical limits, technological and design constraints; a model of formation of amplitude-frequency characteristics and high-Q resonant systems is proposed as a result of superposition of a coherent oscillations ensemble; a number of high-Q measuring converters for scanning microwave microscopy are developed using sequential physical numerical simulation and experimental studies. Implementation - at Usikov Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics, at B. Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, in a number of training courses at higher education institutions of the Ministry Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine. Application - creation of microwave devices on high-Q resonant elements
