Object - the process of professional training of managerial staff for the educational sphere; the aim - to examine theoretical and methodological foundations of the process of professional training of managerial staff to governing the quality of education within a framework of Master's course, to work out and implement the technology ensuring the efficiency of this process; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research has been the first to provide theoretical and methodological substantiation of the process of managerial staff professional training to governing the quality of education within a framework of Master's course on the basis of the processes ensuring the population of Ukraine with educational services of high quality; the main tendencies in the professional training of managerial staff to governing the quality of education within a framework of Master's course in Ukraine since 1991 have been analysed; theoretical and methodological grounds for the professional training of managerial staff within a framework of Master's course based on forming the system of competencies allowing for the development of an integral competence within the framework of individualized education providing for the use of ICT have been provided; the fact- criteria models for the assessment of competence formation level acquired as a result of professional training of managerial staff to governing the quality of education within a framework of Master's course allowing for determining the level and dynamics of the abovementioned competence have been studied; results - development, substantiation and implementation of the course programmes and relevant means of teaching developed by the author to be used in teaching "Management of education quality", "Education quality monitoring", development of teaching modules for the optional disciplines of the curriculum, such as " Management of education quality", "History of monitoring, its place and role in education management", " Making managerial decisions using monitoring process in educational institutions", " Foundations of financial and economic monitoring in education", "Economic mechanisms in the provision of education quality"; the textbook "State management in education" approved by the Ministry of Education and Science, of Youth and Sports, teaching manuals " Information and communication technologies in educational institution management", "Governing quality in education: data for Ukraine" have been compiled"; field - pedagogy
