Bulba V. Social functions of the state in terms of modern globalization trends: public-administrative aspect

Object of research: formation and development of social functions of the state. Purpose: theoretical-methodological ground of state-forming character of social functions of the state (selection of conformities to the law and factors of their historical transformation) and development of recommendations on development of social functions of the state of modern Ukraine in the conditions of globalization calls. Methods: system, attributively-ontological, anthropological, cyclic, neo-functional approaches; structurally-functional; comparative; empiric; expert questioning. Results: theoretical-methodological ground of state-forming character of social functions of the state and selection of conformities to the law and factors of their historical transformation during realization of these functions the public authorities. Novelty: state-forming role of social functions of the state is grounded; priority of social mission of the state is certain; the paradigm of cyclic transformation of social functions of the state is offered. It is inculcated in activity of central and territorial public authorities of Ukraine. Areas of use: public administration, local self-government, training and retraining of civil servants.
