The dissertation deals with problem of investigation of theoretical and methodical approaches of teaching pupils by using health-educational technologies, factors and metods of physical trainind. Complex research of nowadays system of education in secondary schools from the point of view of their influence on the health of pupils was done. The model of functioning of gymnasiums as schools to support health was theoretically proved. The effectiveness of this model was shown. The complex of health-keeping and health-developing socially-hyhienic and psychologically-pedagogical influences which was adopted into practical activity of gymnasiums was scientifically substantiated.
