Essay

Object of research is Plato's philosophy. Platonic ideas about the education of the soul are seen as a whole philosophy of Plato, the combination of these ideas in the metaphysical, political and pragmatic dimension, with psychagogical textual techniques based on these ideas and used by Plato in his writing techniques, which defined as Plato's paideia. The thesis developed and substantiated paideitical approach to Plato's question in a narrow (organization of Corpus Platonicum), and in a wide (hermeneutic pre-understanding of Plato) sense. Paideitical approach is reflective and synthetic methodology that overcomes the one-sidedness of the existing approaches to Plato, it allows us to create a complete historical and philosophical reconstruction of Plato's philosophy in a united political-pedagogical project of the metaphysical education of the philosophical soul. This project shows the output path of the crisis of society and build Kallypolis, the ideal state. Platonic paideia is also considered in terms of its objective due to the development of ancient education and socio-political history of the Greek polis, as well – about the Greek philosophy, which at the time of Plato has exhausted its conceptual cosmocentric potential badly in need of solving the problems of improving the soul involved in philosophical knowledge. The dissertation examines the program of philosophers' education, which Plato represents in the dialogue "Republic", along with the most popular interpretations of the work, especially the myth of the cave, which is represented in this dialogue. Copyright conclusions from this analysis substantially correct interpretation of Plato's teachings in this part. Conducted pragmatic textual study of a number of other dialogues, mostly Early and Small Plato, to discover the essence of Plato's text psychagogia, explain features of composition, drama, poetry and rhetoric in Plato's writing strategies. The combination of these strategies to raise philosophical virtues, with eidetic ontology is the drawing of the doctrine of recollection ("Meno"). Thus Plato united not only ethics with epistemology, but also ontology with politics, and an integrating element in this association is pedagogy in the broadest sense – paideia.
