The dissertation is devoted to the problem of characteristics of baroque traditions at creative work of Ukrainian romantics. In the work the typology of Ukrainian baroque and romantic literature are analyzed; forms of functioning of baroque motives and images in romantic literature, baroque traditions on the different structural levels of texts have been defined.
