3. A systemic analysis of American presidents' public discourse was done in the dissertation. Its influence on the practical activity of presidents and the foreign policy of the United States during 1945-2012 were also studied. Dynamics of public speeches of H. Truman, D. Eisenhower, J. Kennedy, L. Johnson, R. Nixon, G. Ford, J. Carter, R. Reagan, G.H.W. Bush, B. Clinton, G. W. Bush and B. Obama is observed. The importance of rhetoric and its influence on the formation of foreign policy of Washington on the global, regional and local levels are stressed. Author's original concept, based on dialectic correlation between foreign policy of Washington and public discourse of American presidents, is developed and applied. Real roles and functions of political speeches and the level of their influence on the formation, making and implementation of foreign policy decisions through the prism of basic approaches are defined and described. Original instrumentation of the research, which gives an opportunity to correlate activity of politicians with their rhetoric, is used. Author's conception of stereotype systematization, distinguished in the speeches of American presidents, is applied. Their role in the activity of American presidents in foreign policy of the USA is highlighted.
