Horoshko Y. System of information modeling in the training of future teachers of mathematics and computer science

The dissertation develops, theoretically grounds and experimentally verifies the main provisions of formation of the system of competencies in information modeling of future teachers of computer science. The system of competencies regarding information modeling is defined. The methodical system of study information modeling, that is realized in the course of professional training of future teachers of mathematics and computer science, is grounded and developed. The complex of requirements for functionality and interface of educational software designed to automate modeling is worked out. The pedagogical software Gran1 for Windows available for use in all modern operation systems with the help of virtualization or emulation, for automatization the study of mathematical models of various objects, is created. The approaches to the formation of students' competencies in development of mathematical educational software based on a review of features and source code Gran1 are considered. Directions of formation of students' competencies in information modeling in the study of database and the foundations of artificial intelligence are elaborated. The issues related to information modeling in the study of the foundations of stochastic, foundations of algorithms, numerical methods and information models in biology are investigated. The effectiveness of the proposed system of study of information modeling in the educational process of higher educational institutions is experimentally verified.
