Kovtun O. Theoretical and methodological basis of forming professional speech of future experts in the aviation industry

Object - professional-and-speech preparation of future pilots and air traffic controllers at the higher educational establishments. Purpose - to ground scientifically the theoretical and methodological concepts of formation of professional speech of future experts in the aviation industry, which considers the specifics of their interlanguage professional-and-speech skills; to determine the pedagogical conditions of their realization in the process of professional preparation at the higher educational establishments. Methods - theoretical, empirical, statistic. Theoretical results and novelty - the concept of formation of professional speech of future experts of the aviation industry in the teaching process of the specialized educational establishment have been developed and scientifically grounded; the essence of the notions 'professional speech of the aviation industry experts', 'professional-and-speech skills of the aviation industry experts' have been revealed and introduced into scientific use; the social and psychological factors of person-operator's activity in the aviation industry have been determined; structural and functional analysis of professional-and-speech activity of pilots and air traffic controllers has been done; criteria (perceptive-informative, processing-informative, interactive-informative, productive-informative) and their indicators have been elaborated; levels of professional speech formation of future aviation industry experts have been outlined; the pedagogical conditions of professional speech formation of future aviation industry experts have been determined. Practical results - the pedagogical system of development of students - future aviators' professional speech has been represented, the diagnostic and experimental methodologies of professional speech formation of future pilots and air traffic controllers have been suggested and realised in the teaching process; the system of exercises and tasks for the development of students' professional speech have been worked out; the academic programme and experimental special course 'Professional communication of pilots and air traffic controllers' have been elaborated. Efficiency of introduction is high. Branch - pedagogical, higher educational establishments.
