Rumyantsev K. Prophylaxis and treatment of bleedings from the varices of esophagus and stomach in liver cirrhosis.

Object - bleeding from esophageal and stomach varices in patients with liver cirrhosis aim - improving the results of treatment and secondary prevention of bleedings from esophageal and stomach varices in patients with portal hypertension on the ground of liver cirrhosis; methods - clinical, laboratory, instrumental, statistical, novelty - a new strategy of treatment of bleeding from esophageal and stomach varices at liver cirrhosis and prevention of their recurrence is proposed; results – elaborated complex conservative, extracorporeal and endoscopic treatment of bleeding from varices has reduced mortality to 2.6-31% in its acute period; introduced in therapeutic and educational process; industry - surgery.
