Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of the theoretical principles of adaptive management by diesel generator, electric transmission and tribotechnical system "wheel-rail" to increase efficiency and traction properties of locomotives. The microprocessor control system of the locomotive with electric transmission of alternating direct current is developed on the basis of the given researches which is based on adaptive methods and search algorithms of control loop of power of traction generator at rotational speed of wheel couples taking into account the received regularities of multiple parameter identification and the termination of the slipping of locomotives. Besides it is used: the developed methods of adaptive control of diesel generators in transitional operating modes; asynchronous loading of diesels of multisection locomotives; partial stopping of traction engines while insignificant currents of loading and selective supply of sand in a zone of contact of wheels with rails by electromagnetic nozzles.
