Essay

It was showed the results of the study of post-communist transformation as a process of qualitative change of political regimes. Specific features of the transformation processes in the post-communist region were proposed. Introduced the concept of a binary transformation were detected. The models of regime changes and identify their determinants were made. Demonstrated the trend influence of institutional factors on the transformation processes. The post-communist transformation interpreted as an organic component of the global political process. It is hypothesized that a new wave in the reverse process of democratization of the modern world.
