Essay

The method of bulk- and spectrometric gamma-logging was developed for a situation, when soils are contaminated by anthropogenic radionuclides. On this base the mathematical model of radioactive contamination of "Shelter" object local zone soils have been created. Based on Monte Carlo methods the following methods have been developed: the set of new statistical methods to analyze uncertainty of radiological measurement results; the method for estimation of uncertainty of measurements of radioactive waste activity in containers; the method for extracting of weak gamma-lines from a background.
