Essay

The breeding and genetic features of varieties and hybrids by main of characteristics of productivity, total and specific adaptive ability of spring barley varieties, ontogenetic specific of ecological stability, environmental and genetic model of quantitative traits, model of the new varieties of spring barley for low moisture conditions are the object of investigation. The aim of investigation is establish ecological and genetic features of breeding process of spring barley in low moisture northern steppe subzone Ukraine, develop on this basis the model parameters and create a variety with high adaptive capacity. Research methods are general scientific, field, laboratory, statistical, correlation and genetic analysis. Results of investigation are seven varieties have been created in the process of breeding program and theoretical studies, adaptive breeding of spring barley. Four varieties Donetskaya 12, Donetskaya 14, Donetskaya 15, Partner have been official released in Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine. Originality of investigation is solving the research problem of determining the characteristics of spring barley adaptive breeding in low moisture. By the interaction effects of genotype varieties and environmental conditions general and specific parameters of adaptive capacity, variance genotype-environment interaction, the relative stability of breeding values genotype factor, compensation pliability of varieties have been evaluated, significant differences in the ratio of the selected genotypes of different levels of development of yield and its structure and adaptability parameters have been developed. The model of spring barley varieties for the conditions of low moisture has been grounded. Industry-agriculture.
