Essay

The thesis is devoted to improvement of quality of conservative treatment of uterine leiomyoma (UL), reduction of relapses frequency and recovery of reproductive function by developing and implementing complex diagnostic and therapeutic interventions based on the study of features of blood supply, angiogenesis, steroidogenesis, apoptosis and proliferation in the organs of reproductive system. Developed new algorithm of conservative treatment of UL allowed to choose optimal method and improve short-term outcomes. A new concept of UL treatment based on increasing the sensitivity of myoma tissue to ischemia by flare-up effect of a-GnRH with concomitant uterine arteries occlusion improved long-term results of treatment and reduced the frequency of relapses.
