Gasyuk I. Mechanisms for public administration and management of physical culture and sport in Ukraine

The dissertation thesis looks into the genesis of organizational, functional, legal basis for public administration and management of physical culture and sport; provides its periodisation and systemic review of the three periods of its development. Principles of optimization for public administration of physical culture and sport are developed; special functions as tools for the formation and operation of the mechanisms of public administration of physical culture and sport are indentified and their content defined; procedural model for public administration and management of the development of physical culture and sport, structural-functional model for public administration and management of physical culture and sport, their development and quality assurance are generated; criteria for measuring efficiency of public administration of physical culture and sport and their development are developed. Informational, personnel, financial, medical provisions for the sphere are explored; targeted (special-purpose), functional, organizational components of their legal, administrative, economic mechanisms are analyzed. Directions and areas for prospective improvement of the system of public administration of physical culture and sport in Ukraine are provided.
