In the thesis the results of experimental ground of pathogenetic role of pathological adrenalin stress are driven as a trigger of primary glaucoma. The role of balance disturbances of endothelial vasculomotor neuromediators and exciting neuromediators of the retina is studied in experimental glaucoma pathogenesis. The mechanism of participation of melatonin is set in adjusting to ophthalmotonus, metabolic and neuronal processes in the retina at glaucoma on the models of disease. It is studied in the experiment efficiency of quercetin preparation corvitin and it's confirmed in a clinic of glaucoma. Next to trophic, in relation to the eye tissue, an antioxidant properties, it is first set endothelium- and retina-protective properties of corvitin. The new aproache to pathogenetic therapy of primary glaucoma is offered, what provides for a complex endothelial, neuronal and metabolic protection to this eye pathology.
