Ganzhiy I. Clinical and pathogenetic justification of prevention and treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome in women of different age.

The paper is devoted to studying the peculiarities of PCOS in women of different age groups in order to justify approaches to its treatment and prevention of complications in this contingent of patients. Was studied the clinical course of the syndrome at different ages, the characteristics of hormonal homeostasis, carbohydrate, lipid and adypotsytokin metabolism, state of the central and peripheral nervous system, defined morphological and immunohistochemical features of ovarian and endometrial tissues. On the basis of received data were developed and proved principles of complex treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome, which is aimed not only at restoring menstrual function, but also to normalization of all types of metabolism and overall health. The proposed therapeutic approach can increase the effectiveness of treatment of PCOS and prevent the complications associated with it.
