Essay

Thesis is devoted to studying of stationary laminar dust flames microdispersed metal particles. In this paper we develop A new direction in the combustion physics - the physics of combustion ionized dispersed systems has been developed. It is shown that an adequate description of burning metal dusts, as well as single particles of metals is possible only by the simultaneous consideration of combustion processes, phase formation and thermal ionization flame. Found that the thermal ionization flame determines the dynamics of the processes of nucleation and coagulation products of combustion of gas-phase metals. It is shown that the coagulation of ionized particles determines the characteristic size of the particles of combustion products in small-scale metal laminar flames. Received and explained dependence have consistently explain the available data on the impact of the parameters of dust flame on the characteristic size of the particles of combustion products and provide a key to understanding the methods of purposeful control of dispersion of combustion products of metals
