Object - the process of future teacher's professional training ; the aim - to substantiate theoretical and methodological principles of forming professional orientation of future teacher's personality, to analyse and experimentally check the efficiency of theoretically substantiated pedagogical technology of forming professional orientation of future teacher's personality, to find out its influence on the level of his/her professional proficiency; methods - theoretical, empirical, of mathematical statistics ; novelty -the research is the first to provide a comprehensive study of professional orientation of future teacher's personality as a key professionally valuable complicated dynamic integrated formation in the structure of future teacher's personality; the structural components of professional orientation of future teacher's personality have been analysed; the pedagogical technology has been worked out and experimentally checked; the system of criteria and levels of formation of professional orientation of future teacher's personality has been specified; methodological approaches used to justify the problem of personality's professional orientation, means and techniques of its forming have undergone further study; results - theoretical ideas and conclusions about forming professional orientation of future teacher's personality are reflected in the monograph "Forming professional orientation of future teacher's personality (theoretical and methodological aspect)" and in the teaching manual for students and lecturers of higher pedagogical institutions "Professional orientation of future teacher's personality: technological aspect". The suggested technology of forming professional orientation of future teacher's personality can be modified to the specific demands of training students majoring in varying disciplines and in the process of teaching students of other departments ; field - pedagogy.
