Karlova V. National self-consciousness as a spiritual basis for state formation processes in Ukraine : administrative aspect

The thesis provides scientific and theoretical argumentation of the public administration impact upon the formation and development of citizens' national self-consciousness which serves as a spiritual basic for state formation processes in Ukraine. The essense of national self-consciousness, as well as methodological instruments applied for researching the phenomenon in the science of "Public administration" are clarified and its role in state formation is defined. The spiritual and valuable foundations of state formation that make up the essense of national self-concsiousness are grounded, the ways and instruments of state's influence upon the determination of the basic system of values of the Ukrainian society at its current stage are revealed. The main directions and peculiarities of Ukraine's national humanitarian policy in the context of national self-consciousness formation are analyzed. A Concept of the national self-consciousness formation of the Ukrainian society as a spiritual basis for state formation processes, aimed at the acceleration of Ukraine's state formation is suggested/
